Hi! I’m Emily Douglass—the heart behind Boutique EmiLou.

I’ve always loved the boutique world, especially the joy that comes from helping someone find pieces that make them feel confident, beautiful, and truly like themselves. That feeling has always been the inspiration behind everything I do here.

My family has called me “Emi” since the day I was born, and my middle name is Louise—together, EmiLou naturally became a meaningful reflection of who I am and the heart behind this brand. It carries that same sense of familiarity and warmth I hope every woman feels when she shops here.

I recently married my high school sweetheart (more like middle school sweetheart, really), and we’re in such a sweet new season of life together. I also graduated from Texas A&M in 2025, and I’m so grateful for this chapter of building something of my own.

When I’m not curating new arrivals or styling pieces, you’ll find me spending time with family, trying new products, or at home with my two little companions—Willow, my dachshund, and Felina, my Persian cat. My faith in Jesus is the foundation of my life and the quiet guide behind this business.

Boutique EmiLou was created for women who want getting dressed to feel simple again. I believe in effortless, flattering pieces that fit into real life—brunch dates, busy errands, nights out, and everything in between.
